Funded Post Doctoral Positions:

There are no funded open positions currently available.

PhD Positions:

There are a range of scholarships on offer at Imperial College.


There are two PhD funded opportunities available:

Machining & damage in Ni alloys - funded for Home/EU students (2015/2016 start).

Hydrides in Zr - Nuclear Energy CDT studentship (Oct 2016 for MRes start) for Home students.


 
In addition, industrial related projects (hosted within the group but linked with our partners) are possible.

Generally we are looking for hard working and talented engineers and scientists interested in how microstructure and properties interact. A background in Materials / Engineering / Physics / Chemistry or Computing is advised.

Undergraduate:

Students within the Department of Materials can get involved with their MSc / MEng / BEng projects. Please just get in touch!

Students can undertake UROP places for summer research within the lab. This can be either computational, experimental, or a mixture of these. Please send Dr Britton a CV and cover letter.
